These Tuesday afternoons are for individuals and small groups of friends to come and enjoy the garden at a leisurely pace.
Come at 1pm with a picnic or 1.45pm ready for the tour. Or just drop in later and wander until tea time!
Entrance will be £4.50 per person.
- Free Guided tour for 5 to 35 people from 2-3pm, ...we can mix and match topics just say what you would like to know more about! Containers, Edible flowers, Roses, Clematis and Ornamental grasses
- Visitors are welcome to bring a picnic, but beware if it is raining I have limited dry space.
- Tea and home made cake will be served at 3. 15pm, price £2.50 per person.
- There is no need to book, but if you are bringing a little group of three or more, please email or phone just to let me know so that I can bake extra cakes!

SPECIAL LITERARY AND POETRY EVENT ON MAY 28TH
'AUTHORS IN THE GARDEN'
On May 28th ‘Authors in Love’, Sue Hampton and Leslie Tate, will read in the garden. Using music, poetry and extracts from their 19 published novels, Sue and Leslie will explore the sensual beauty of gardens and how nature can enrich our lives. Afterwards they will sign their books.
On these informal Tuesday afternoons come at 1pm with a picnic to enjoy sitting in the garden or 1.45pm ready for the tour. Or just drop in later and wander until tea time!

- 2pm Free introduction and short guided tour for 5 to 35 people ...we can mix and match topics just say what you would like to know more about! Containers, Edible flowers, Roses, Clematis and Ornamental grasses
- Visitors are welcome to bring a picnic, and please enjoy it in the garden on a seat or in the gazebo; but beware if it is raining I have limited dry space.
- 3.15pm onwards: Tea and home made cake will be served, price £3 per person. To make administration easier please pay for entrance and teas (if partaking), on arrival.
- There is no need to book, but if you are bringing a little group of six or more, please email or phone just to let me know so that I can bake extra cakes!
- Shop with Kathy's 'Edible Flower' £8.99 and 'Container Gardening Book' £9.99 for sale; they make lovely presents. She will gladly sign them. There is also a super range of Kathy's cake recipe cards and garden cards as well as special rose water and other floral edibles. NB There are no credit card facilities so please bring cash or chequebook.
